European Brass Collective, conductor: Daniel Perpigñán.

For the anniversary year, we are once again welcoming the European Brass Collective, which already opened the Bruckner Festival 2016 & 2018 "sonorously and splendidly" (quote OÖN). The musicians got to know each other at the Guildhall School of Music and Drama in London and are closely associated with the Bruckner Festival, with many of them also playing in the symphony concert of the Altomonte Orchestra. They came to St Florian thanks to Thomas Wall's international contacts. As always, the colourful programme ranging from baroque to romantic to pop will be enriched by "musical guest gifts" from the two composers in the ensemble, conductor Dani Perpinan and trombonist Paul Frost: Their compositions, written for this concert, are "tributes" to the "jubilarian and host" Anton Bruckner. Goosebumps guaranteed again this year!
