Wednesday, 4.9.2024, 17:00 to 19:00 Special guided tour with Norbert Trawöger in the exhibition How it all began. Bruckner's visions

B24_05

The time has finally come! We are celebrating the 200th birthday of Anton Bruckner. 24 is not only the year, but also the number of hours in which we want to celebrate the genius loci comprehensively in all corners of the country on this day - as we are used to doing in the Bruckner year.

Experience the secrets and interesting facts about Anton Bruckner with Norbert Trawöger, artistic director of the OÖ KulturEXPO Anton Bruckner 2024, in the exhibition How it all began. Bruckner's visions in St. Florian Abbey.

The exhibition of the Upper Austrian KulturEXPO Anton Bruckner 2024 provides an insight into the composer's life and creative stations in the abbey for the first time with a large number of documents from the city archives, medially prepared with audio stations and accompanied by personal or digital cultural mediation. Bruckner's dreams and visions are referenced in three monumental multimedia experience rooms in the Stiftshof.

Exhibition duration | until 27 October 2024
Opening times | Tue - Sun from 9:00 to 18:00 | Mon closed

In addition to this special tour, hourly highlight tours of the exhibition will take place as part of the 24-hour birthday celebration.

A print art workshop for children starts at 1.00 p.m.

Note
The exhibitions in St. Florian, Ansfelden, Kronstorf and Steyr can be visited free of charge on this day.
