Saturday, 18.1.2025, 9:00 to 16:00 Linz Zoo

Tiergarten Linz

Halfway up the Pöstlingberg, adjacent to the Urfahrwänd nature reserve and with a fabulous view of the city, Linz Zoo invites visitors to an unforgettable animal and nature experience and offers those seeking relaxation undisturbed by lush greenery.

600 exotic and native animals from around 110 species cast a spell over zoo visitors on the almost 4-hectare site.

While meerkats, zebras, red pandas, antelopes, kangaroos, parrots and many more animals romp around in the beautifully designed and well-kept outdoor enclosures, caimans, giant snakes and monkeys enjoy their modern home in the warm tropical house .
The House of Biodiversity with its many small exotic inhabitants, such as poison dart frogs, zebra finches, monitor lizards and tarantulas, as well as the Zoo School, guarantees fun, amazement and a memorable experience for the whole family, along with numerous other attractions.
In the new domestic animal park you will also find a petting area with the pygmy goats, an "alpine hut" with a view and a rabbit tunnel with two very special insights,

alongside many domestic and farm animal breeds, some of which are highly endangered.
