Airport

The Blue Danube Airport is at the gates of the city, just 20 minutes away from the centre. Direct flights from Düsseldorf, Frankfurt, London, Salzburg and Vienna.


Airport Transfer

  • Shuttle Service: Passengers arriving in Linz are invited to use the free shuttle service between Linz Airport and Hoersching station from 5.00 a.m. to 10 p.m., available on request. This transfer takes about three minutes.
    To order a shuttle service, please contact the information desk at the airport or the station manager at Hoersching station

WESTbahn + WESTbus
Since 2011 the new WESTbahn rail service covers the Vienna to Salzburg route via Linz in 3 hours or so. Its counterpart on the road is WESTbus, which runs 2 to 4 times a day from Linz to Graz or from Linz to Prague from € 12.00.
