City hiking trails

Ten marked hiking trails lead you through the green city by the Danube. You can find route descriptions, maps and elevation profiles in the Linz City Hiking Trails brochure (DE).

Donausteig (Danube trail)

Hardly any other region is as diverse as the Danube region. Numerous landscapes that could not be more different, accompany hikers on the Danube trail from Passau via Linz to Grein and offer breathtaking insights and perspectives in a fabulously beautiful country.

Branching off from the main route, numerous Donausteig hiking laps lead into the hinterland, thus enable a more intense experience of the region.
